This formation was a find by chance sighting. The actual Pharaho looking face is somewhat hidden here and only seen from this angle and TOD shadows. When I first came across this I climbed up to make sure it was not some sort of mankind abuse. But after reviewing the granite that would easily give clues to abuse from the surrounding granite textures and colors the facial look was natural. In fact, it was only barely noticeable from this POV. From the opposite side it looks like just an indention.
Feedback Requests
I guess the important feedback is whether it fits the “geometry” factor with regards to the surrounding rocks included.

Paul, I think it fits. You caught the light just right. I see the side portrite of the Pharao and an egg and maybe a loaf of bread. It’s easy to see what you want to see with a little imagination. Nice.
THANKS
Wonderful find and so well presented (as usual). While you were able to find a location that presents the face so well, I also see an egg (potato?) and two boulder bodies with partial bird-like faces. An exceptional image.

I sincerely appreciate each of your reviews and comments on this scene. As photographers we all know how nature can at times provide some interesting oddities. I’d seen this opportunity by chance and returned a day later to photograph the scene under an intense summer sunrise and a bluebird sky…
