Living in Idaho, rivers are a big part of our lives. In fact, they should have named Idaho the River State, instead of the Gem State. there are so many of them. This was a lovely misty morning in early summer. My favorite conditions for a Photo Walkabout.

I want to bring out the ethereal magic I saw on this morning, and have the river invite you through the image.

I did only the basic Lr global adjustments, waiting for inspiration for where to go next. Thank goodness this opportunity came up!

I think you have capture the mood and feel of what you wanted. The processing looks good. The composition and colors are flowing together. The greens aren’t over saturated. I think you’re onto something.
I don’t have much to add, as everything is looking pretty good. You might want to try to add a little contrast to the right side of the frame. Basically where the fog meets the tree line, and then back towards the foreground. This will separate the layers and give you a little more depth. I would also do the same slightly to the river. I will attach a quick sample image for reference.
