Critique Style Requested: Standard
The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.
A pond by my house… pelicans show up late spring/early summer. It’s my favorite place to get some photos.

Hi Sue, nice image of these pelicans with very nice exposure on the whites. Choice of f9 looks good as all three birds seem sharp to me. I like the backdrop of green reeds in the BG. I think they add interest rather than distract. I could see cropping a bit off the left so the birds aren’t centered and then there would be more room to where the birds were facing versus their backsides. Nice image.
I like the idea of cropping so more room to where the birds are facing. I will try that.
