Was watching the light filtered through the trees as it spot-lit areas of the backyard garden. I had taken several shots of these branches earlier, then noticed the side lit leaves and the 2 arching together. Not as sharp as I would like, but an interesting “pose” Smaller file loaded.

Lit rim around the leaves? additional sharpening?
Does it strike a mood or feeling?

Marlin, this speaks well of spring as the side lighting colors the leaves and shows off their veins. The larger view is slow to load, because of it’s large size. The recommendation is 2000 pixel on the long axis for the best combination of loading speed and detailed viewing.
Marlin: The lighting caught my eye immediately as this kind of dappled light is one of my favorites to work with. I like the comp and progression of the light. The pose of the leaves is a nice bonus. The slightly OOF end doesn’t bother me at all as it’s sharp where it needs to be and the light keeps one’s attention there. Well seen and captured. >=))>
Thanks, Bill. It was a fun afternoon, watching the light highlight different parts of the garden. This was part of a project, to capture something every day. Never made it to 365 days, but got some good images for the days I did go out.
