Description
This big mule deer buck was walking along the shore of the Tule Lake National Wildlife Refuge South Sump. It really blended in well with the surroundings when it stood still in the taller grasses and reeds. The second image is a merger of three shots of the same buck.
Specific Feedback
I was on the top of a small bluff following the progress of this buck. The downward angle may not be the best, but it did give a good opportunity for a nice overview of the surrounding area. Is the composition OK? Do I need to crop more. I think this is about 75% of the original frame plus a small amount added canvas on the bottom.
Technical Details
Canon Rebel XT, f10, 1/800 s, iso 200, -.3 ev, 70-300 lens at 160 mm.
