Description

I started this challenge with a flower and will end it with another. It’s too hot here for us to grow tulips with any success but I have brought some home for modeling. I liked this one for the color and the tear. >=))>

Bill, to me this looks like a soft magenta flame. I like the bits of other color at the bottom, they contrast well with the magenta even as they emphasize the lines and shapes above.

A very nice comp–very subtle with lots of detail present. I think that the origin of the opening in the petals is at the right spot in the comp. The light area at the base of the opening does remind me of a flame. Awesome…Jim
