Tundra Sunrise

Critique Style Requested: Standard

The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.

Description

Fall comes early on Alaska’s North Slope. As the vegetation starts to lose it’s chlorophyl the landscape becomes cast in analogous colors. It also gets very wet I discovered. I remember boiling hot dogs outside and having to run out into the rain to see if they were done. A ranger finally showed up and told us we were attracting bears. Photo opportunities were pretty good though.

Specific Feedback

Does it meet the analogous color requirements?

Technical Details

Canon 6D, 24-105mm.

Igor, this is a lovely look at this clump of grass and it’s surroundings. The colors are nicely warm and inviting. I don’t see any bears, though…

Hah. I never saw one neither. The coolest animal we saw on that trip was a wolverine, but it was far away.

It feels like a sunburst on what sounds like a bit of a gloomy day, Igor. Nicely seen and captured.

Good observation. I changed the title accordinmgly.
