This guy let me shoot him before plopping into the water. I like the textures here, and kicked around making it a B&W. This original color shot barely won out for me. I used my D500, Nikon 2-500 lens, 1/2000th, f/5.6, ISO 360, 310mm, hand held, AI Clear.

Nice Dave. The reflection doesn’t add much for me, so I’d be tempted to crop from the bottom about half-way up the log to really emphasize the turtle.
