This was taken at Sabrina Lake in Bishop Creek Canyon in the eastern Sierras last October. I had the great good fortune to hit the autumn aspen leaf color at the exact right time. It was a beautiful, warm, fall day and sunlight was sparkling on the lake.

This is a very interesting image. I like the “stars” and the color gradient from top to bottom. I think the reflections of the trees work better on the top of the image than the bottom, where they are perhaps too faint. But well done ,and different from many other images
I really like the lightness and fun of this picture. With the darkness on top and the light in the bottom it looks lke the lights are coming down to earth from the sky which adds another dimention to the picture. I also like the different sizes and intensities of the different lights and some of the stars also add another fun element. Really nicely composed.
Chris, it took me a while to understand what you had done here. This is great fun…a feel of dancing. I do wonder how some mid-tone dodging of the tree reflections would look.
