Description
It was an awesome morning. I hit the colors at peak. Right place, right time. This was taken at Bishop Creek Canyon on a recent trip to the Eastern Sierras.

Chris, this is wonderful. The fall colours, aspen trunks, rocks, and perfect reflections all come together perfectly. Fine detail and great perspective.
Well-done!
Chris, A beautiful fall scene with the somewhat monochromatic color base of pure yellow and light grays. Would this image work as a triptych - the aspens are perfectly grouped for this.
Yup. It’s a stunner and worthy of hanging on a wall! I had some fun with scrolling my screen up & down, playing around with a crop that either crops off the tops of the trees and puts the line of water/land as the top third; and/or visee, versee (no idea how to spell that) cropping the reflection of the trees tops out of the bottom to place that same shore line in the bottom third of the frame. Just for fun…
I love the comp and vertical aspect ratio you have chosen. Super job of seeing. I added a midtones 1 luminosity mask and put it in the multiply blend mode. I think it tones down the exposure a tad and bumps up the pop. Wonderful, Chris.
