The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.
Description
The landscapes in Val d’Orcia change in every season. In the warm and dry summer the arid clay creates many different shades of yellow. The image was taken the last summer when the sun was giving the last caress to the valley
Specific Feedback
If I remember correcty the very warm colors of the valley were real, I couldn’t find a cast. May be they are too saturated?

Gorgeous landscape in perfect light!! It’s not too saturated for my taste, nor do I see a color cast. What would the Renaissance masters have done?
My only bit of a question is thinking about a gradient burn at the top, maybe with a lit of lower contrast – the detail there tends to pull my eye away from the wonderful mid-ground. But even without that, I’d give this an 11 out of 10.
@Diane_Miller your advice are always good. I have tried to follow it in the downloaded new version. I have done almost the same thing also in the background.
Giuseppe, the way you’ve captured the rolling landscapes of Val d’Orcia is truly captivating. The gentle, undulating lines of the hills, combined with the golden hues, create a serene and almost painterly effect.
The winding paths lead the eye naturally through the scene, giving a sense of depth and movement. The houses and trees punctuate the landscape, adding focal points that draw the viewer in. The lighting in your photograph is exquisite, with the setting sun casting long, soft shadows that enhance the texture and depth of the fields. The interplay between light and shadow creates a dynamic yet peaceful mood, drawing the viewer into the tranquility of the landscape. The warm tones perfectly capture that fleeting moment when the sun gives its last embrace to the valley, adding a touch of magic to the scene.
I think your instincts are spot on. The natural saturation here beautifully conveys the golden hues and the serene atmosphere of Val d’Orcia in the summer.
