Vermont's SPRING foliage!

Image(s)

Image Description

Three millions people travel to Vermont to see the Fall foliage and, if you’ve ever come, it is clear why. Thankfully the roads are much less busy during the relatively unknown Spring foliage season as it is also stunning. This is the week it is all happening in Central Vermont and I’ll be out again, camera in hand, to enjoy.

John: A marvelous color palette indeed. I hope to get up there this fall. New England is the only part of the country I’ve never visited. Been as far north and east as Philadelphia but never to points beyond. I like this and could also see several frame filling comps with no sky and just trees. Looks like a target rich environment. >=))>

@Bill_Fach thank you. Yes, do plan on a visit and happy to provide some tips, the main one being Fall foliage season can last weeks if you go north or south or change elevation. Spring is similar. It is easy to make 500 exposures in an outing and not be disappointed in any of them. Very rich!

John;

I really like the pastel color palette in your early “spring” image. In my eyes it creates a subdued air of “possibilities still to come” - as opposed to the brief autumnal fireworks of saturated colors that represents only a small fraction of what nature in Vermont is all about.

Two thumbs up.

Cheers,
Franz
