Trying to come up with something that speaks of abandonment and isn’t a building, I thought of this image.

Chris, I am really enjoying the composition, the colors and the textures. . . .but I’ve just got to ask, “what is it?” Really great image.

Linda, this is some old rusted thing that was left on the ground. I think the detritus in it was either washed or blow in.

Chris, this is an interesting mix of rust, cracked porcelain and debris. I’m especially enjoying the lines in the debris, which has me thinking that a crop, from the right, to 8.5 x 11 would emphasize those lines a bit more.
