The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.
Description
I was so excited that I was able to see both eaglets and a parent on the nest. So often when I stopped by there, the parent would be blocking one or both eaglets.

This is a very engaging image, Barbara. Probably not from your backyard setup
The detail in all three is excellent.; probably the best detail I can recall seeing in the chicks. The tongues are a nice bonus. I also like the green foliage behind the eagles. Great job.
Hi Barbara, nice look at the adult and both chicks. Love the tongues showing on the chicks. Details look good. The dynamic positioning of the birds is great with the head of the adult bird between the chicks. Looks like there are hawk feathers in the lower left of the nest - wonder what that is about? Intriguing image!
Strange, prehistoric looking little creatures aren’t they. The nest is surprising to me.
You’ve got great focus on all the birds Barbara. The fuzzy chicks are wonderful. I like the green foliage breaking up the sky, and subtley framing the birds.
There could be a bit of magenta coming through on the chick on the left.
Thank you! I saw that bit of magenta but couldn’t figure out how to get rid of it. I am self-taught in Photoshop. Probably way past time to get some PS training. Thanks again!
Barbara, a pretty easy fix from ACR or lightroom. A simple HSL slider adjustment reducing the purples and there was quite a funky aqua colour there as well. Easily removed. I took the image into Masking and lightened the shadows on all three. I think it looked OK.
Lighting is very nice and I think that the comp is fine as presented. The highlights are fairly bright, but I don’t think that you would be able to reduce them which would reduce the dynamic features of the shot. Well done…Jim
Barbara, I see this is your first post and it is an excellent one! The suggestions above for color fixes are good ones – I’d love to see a re-post. The best way to learn new things in PS is just to dig in with a particular fix. Adjustment layers and sometimes masks will cover about 95% of needed processing.
Thank you all for your input!
I took this photo last year. Our eagles are guarding their nests in preparation for this years brood.
It is going to take me awhile to do a repost. I need to find some good Photoshop training. I don’t use Lightroom. It is way past time for me to know more!!
I would rather be out in nature than behind a computer!
Thank you again!!
A fine image, Barbara. There aren’t too many eagle nests that give any kjnd of decent view. so without a nest camera, this kind of image is really rare.
