Water snake(s)

The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.

Description

The spillway behind my house hosts water snakes this time of year when there is sufficient water flow. These were taken in the past week.

Specific Feedback

Any comments appreciated. Do you have a favorite?
Any thoughts on the bug on top of the snake in the first and last image?

Allen, these are all fine looks at these Watersnakes. I get a kick out of the bug (looks like a mosquito) “riding” on the snake’s head. Catching the extended tongue is a fine benefit. I get the norther version of this snake “visiting” my pond occasionally and they are very interesting to watch and photograph.
