This is definitely a species that I have never seen before. The plumage is gorgeous and the low angle is great. The pose and head angle work for me, too. I only wish that it were taken with a softer light.

Yes, harsh light is really tough and there aren’t many ways to naturally alter it. Despite the lighting issues which you cannot control this is a well composed image with excellent detail, depth of field, and nice color.
