I see that several NPN members have a banner adjacent to their name that says, “Valued Contributor”.
What does it mean? What are the criteria for a member to be granted such an honor?
I’ve searched NPN a couple of times and haven’t found an explanation. It’s possible I missed it.
Thanks for chiming in!

Preston, I suspect in the past for the most part it was consistency both in visits and comments. Just a swag on my part here. I will say, as we know, in the past a CP (comment to post) ratio provided immediate insight into a bit of both visits and comments overall. I’m not sure if that is a possible reflection at this point or not. Although I’ve not seen it for awhile now the “requested” 2 comments to post is obviously an easy threshold all should be able to retain.
Anyway, just some possible thoughts on the point that may not be even tracked for inclusion on the “Valued Contributor” sub title if you will.
Preston - the description for the designation says “Awarded when a member gives more back to the community than they receive. Contact a moderator to nominate a member.” Pretty subjective.
Hi Preston. The appropriate post from 2020 showed up under Bonnie’s response.

I think the others covered this pretty well. It was just a way to acknowledge those who were giving back to the community. I know your intention was not to get the title, but someone did recommend you Preston, which I fully agree with, so I have awarded you with this!
Thanks for the info everyone. I became curious about it after seeing the badge, which must have been instituted while I was gone from NPN.
@David_Kingham Thank you, sir!
