Hyena Pup, Botswana
When we drove by, this little fellow hopped out of his den, hoping we were his mom returning with food.

Whoever thought a hyena could be cute? (Well, sort of cute, on first reaction…) Very nice capture with good focus and a pleasing BG. Looks like it was very low light, from the specs. The larger version shows a bit of over-sharpening in some areas – I wonder if you have revisited the NR and sharpening with different choices? That is admittedly pixel-peeping, though, on an excellent image.

Great look from this youngster Sandy. His food drive seems to be alive and well seeing if mom was bringing him anything to eat. Looks good to me.
