White-crowned Sparrow and re-post

Of the small birds, the White-crowned Sparrow seems to give me the best poses (i.e. they stay still and in the open).

Excellent POV, color, and detail. Nice pose. The last two leaves on the far right are a little distracting and pull my eye.

Yes, that makes it work better!

It might be improved if more of the bird was in focus (head, feathers on back) and if the bird was presented as a whole object (not having it’s lower body and legs blocked from view). All subjective. GL

I like this - Very nice view of the white and black crown - not always easy to show so well. I like the bird’s pose. Perhaps an even stronger image if he had been on the other side of the wood knot but still a pleasing image to me.
