Hi Vanessa,

Study the histogram for this shot as the lightest parts of the image are too bright. This is a very challenging shot, but can be tamed up a bit with post-processing. One nice thing about most modern dslr’s is that you can recover lost details in the highlights with Lightroom or Photoshop. Your comp can be strengthened by cropping some more from the bottom. The chickadee looks pretty good and the head is nice and sharo. Well done…Jim

Hi @Jim_Zablotny thanks for looking and your feedback. I was kicking myself after it was too late to delete this. This wasn’t the image I wanted to post! That’s what I get for not really doing a good job of culling! I’ll be posting another one tomorrow as we can only do one per day… But thanks, yeah the sunflower is too bright. This is the first time I’ve ever had a ‘setup’ right out my door so I can get a lot of practice! :smile:
