Description
I captured this just as the sun was setting. The petals of these flowers create a bowl shape. I liked that I created an over all curved bowl shape with ICM.
Specific Feedback
I am new to ICM. Any comments and suggestion are welcome and appreciated.

Hi Ann,
This is a lovely ICM. I like the softness of the pedals created by the motion. The colors are soft, but vibrant as well. I also see the “curved bowl” effect you have created with the motion .
The only suggestion I have would be some sort of crop. There is quite a bit being captured corner to corner, but also a lot of open space in the opposite corners. I’m pretty sure due to the diagonal capture of the blossoms.
I hope you don’t mind, but I went ahead and gave it a try. Now what I had to do might not be what you’re willing to do or even if you like it… but my thought was in order to reduce the empty space in the to corner areas was to rotate a little and then crop. the result however meant I had to content-aware fill some of those new corner areas in order to get a more horizontal presentation. The corners are still as empty as before actually, but now the blossoms fill more of the frame; and some of the original ULC, upper left corner was taken out as well. Lastly I lighted the UR corner area to bring up the luminosity a little bit for some light balance.
I think the colors and the blossoms are lovely - I really like the soft motion here. Well done.

Ann, congrats on a wonderful ICM image! I like the motion you have captured and the colors. Yep I see the bowl shapes especially at the end of the flowers. I hope you continue to have fun with ICM and sharing your work.
I like Lon’s thought process and edit for addressing several of the areas in the image. The main one being the distractions in the upper left corner and some of the uneven tonalities. Here is an alternate crop to consider. My goal was to introduce a bit more dynamic lines to compliment the motion and to help simplify the framing. I also added several targeted adjustments to address the unequal luminosity.
@Lon_Overacker @Alfredo_Mora Thank you Lon and Alfredo for taking the time to show me a couple ways to crop this image and get the flowers to fill the frame better. I like both but keeping the diagonal of the flowers is my preference. It looks so much better to reduce the large amount of green in the corners. I also appreciate your suggested changes for luminosity in the greens. ICM is too much fun, especially when you happen to get one shot in a hundred!

You’re welcome Ann. Thanks for the response. Most certainly understand the diagonal preference and of course the creator of the work is the one who gets to decide! Appreciate you reviewing the suggestions. ICM’s are fun!
