Questions to guide your feedback

Winter Soltstice sunset, Half Moon Bay
St Patrick’s Rune:

At Tara today in this fateful hour
I place all Heaven with its power,
And the sun with its brightness,
And the snow with its whiteness,
And fire with all the strength it hath,
And lightning with its rapid wrath,
And the winds with their swiftness along their path,
And the sea with its deepness,
And the rocks with their steepness,
And the earth with its starkness
All these I place,
By God’s almighty help and grace,
Between myself and the powers of darkness.

I like what you have done here–The dark pattern of where water meets land adds a lot the comp. The radial arrangement of the clouds is also an added bonus. The unbalanced arrangement of earth vs sky generates additional interest as well. A wonderful shot and Happy Holidays…Jim

Nice use of the wide angle to get the clouds and surf. The spots of color around the image are nice accents to move the eye. I like the dark of the rocks at the bottom to frame the image. Though, I think a little more there would give it a little more balance, and some room for the waves to flow into and not seem like the image just ends abruptly. Also, like the reach of the waves echoing the reach in the clouds. Very nice seeing.
