Wistful Thinking

Chrissy planted this Wisteria last year but too late for it to bloom much. It spent the summer, fall and winter growing stronger and this year it is loaded with buds. I liked the juxtaposition of these two buds and just for fun shot it in Illustration and Watercolor modes. Do you have any preference? I personally like the straight shot but do like what the artistic modes do a touch better. All comments welcome. >=))>

I think the straight shot works the best of the three for my taste, Bill. I can see some interesting results from the other two, but the in-camera processing carries it too far in this case for my taste. I think some of the artistic filters in the post processing packages where you have more control would work well for this image.

I like your composition.

Interesting subject Bill. I have not used the watercolor mode in the Sony camera very often, but it is my favorite end result of the three images. Guess I’ll have to try it out!

I’ll take mine straight, Bill, with a beer chaser…
