Taken at a local pond. The watercolor comes from the reflection of grasses on the shoreline. I posted a similar image earlier this year but this is different.

A beautiful bird portrayed very nicely David. The surrounding water makes a good background and the leaves form a partial frame, so your timing was right on.
Very good, David. Normally the old lily pads detract, but the way you caught him right between them makes it work.
Oh wow, David! This is so beautiful! I love the colors of the water contrasting with the duck. And I agree with @Jim_Lockhart and @Dennis_Plank that the lily pads make for a really nice framing. Really great image!
Wonderful opportunity for a gorgeous subject. I think Iād probably tone down the yellow in the right 1/3 ā just a little.
