A nice look at the ducks. I like the setting with the flowers and reflections. I could see trying to bring out of the shadow/color detail in the male’s head if possible.
Very nice detail in both ducks, Eddie. A couple of minor things you might want to try. First I agree with Allen that bringing up the shadows in the male would be an improvement though I do love the glancing light, so I wouldn’t get so carried away that that effect disappears. The little cluster of highlights in front of the male is distracting to me and there’s on bright green spot in the upper left corner of that image that insists on having my attention. On the female, I could see a bit more room on the bottom and if you’re using Photoshop or something equivalent, the healing brush would probably do a nice job on those twigs in the upper left quadrant.
Very good images that I think a little tweaking would make even better.
