This young of the year Pronghorn was part of a group grazing on some sage. This was the only member of the herd that I could isolate. (R5, 100-500 @ 500, 1/50 s, f/16, iso 400, sitting on the car window, 72% FF)

Wonderful closeup of this young Pronghorn, Mark. This looks like the snow was not too hot anywhere either. I really like & I’m enjoying the resting portraiture here. Almost seems to have a cute smirk coming on too. Very cool !.. ![]()
The only thought for slight change might be to bring up the darkness in the eye area. Just an idea without any real concrete suggests at this exact moment… ![]()
Great eye contact, Mark. This is wonderfully environmental and shows great interaction too. He saw you but figured that was a lens, not a rifle.
Cool expressions and a nice frame !
What I like most about this is the way its colour pops gently among those plants. I love using the car window instead of a tripod! Lovely portrait, Mark.
