We were camping at Olena State Park in Florida. My friend woke me to go to the river sink to watch the sunrise. it was so beautiful, I shot the entire roll of film on this sunrise. This image was scanned on my Canoscan to digital.

I see this is your first post, Jan, so welcome to NPN! I hope you will find this as wonderful a place as I have to hang out and enjoy the many aspects of photography. This is a wonderful match for the theme.
A minor suggestion is to extend the canvas at the bottom a bit to the water isn’t touching the edge of the frame. That creates a visual tension that is at odds with the gentle atmospherics here.
You don’t say what you did with the image between scanning and posting, and that can help with comments and critique. Did you open it in Photoshop or load it into LIghtroom, or… One reason I ask is that the purple/violet color seems at odds with the subject, and I suspect it is due to an incorrectly assigned color profile.
