Here’s a 4 point I shot out back of my house. I keep wondering what made its tines blunted on the tips like that. D500, Nikon 200-500 lens, Nikon 1.4 TC, 1/1000th, F 8.0, 280mm, ISO 4000, gimbal/monopod, AI Clear, cropped to 3740 x 3712.

Really nice shot of this buck. Looks like you were very close to him. Looks like the antler tips are broken. What time of year did you shoot it? Maybe during the rut ?

Yes. It was a month or month and a half ago. He was “bird-dogging” a doe as I shot this, matter of fact.

You have got a real close look at the stag with some nice details.
Somehow the crop looks tight and square comp. is somewhat not working here.
