Critique Style Requested: Standard
The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.
Last fall I was driving thought some fields and saw this tree sitting on top of a beautiful harvest field . I stopped at the driveway across from this and got a shot. I only had my Nikon z9 with the 24-120 lens… which worked out ok. 120mm, f/9, ISO 125, 1/640.
Wow, that is definitely small in the frame. Nice juxtaposition of blue and orange complementary colors. Fabulous leading lines. I’m thinking if it was cropped down to cut out the blank blue sky and in from the right about a third of the way to the tree it would highlight the tree a little bit more and move the tree out of the center some. Just a thought. This was well worth stopping for.
Hi Chris… I tried this and it’s pretty with the tree not in the center. Thanks for the idea. I might try printing it out both ways today. Sue
