A beautiful image of this bird, Jaapv. While I would normally suggest placing the bird off center a bit more, this perch absolutely demands the centered composition. You nailed the depth of field to provide a lovely background that still shows the habitat nicely. The only thing I’d do with this one is bring down the small tan patch at the top to the left of the bird. It tends to draw my eye for some reason.

Your African Fish Eagle is correctly framed, for its’ press photo. The head profile makes the statement. I am the biggest, strongest and best look Eagle so frame me from and center. Nice work.
