African Fish Eagle

Critique Style Requested: Standard

The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.

Description

Botswana
The African fish eagle is a fairly common bird in sub-Saharan Africa, but we are always thrilled when we find one. They are gorgeous and imposing, being larger than our bald eagles. They eat mostly fish, but will eat small mammals, crustaceans, and other water-dwellers. They often steal fish from other birds. They are very territorial and mate for life.
This was a hazy day.

Lovely image of this eagle, Sandy. Haze is the photographer’s best friend.

Another beautiful image. You certainly have portrayed the eagle well; imposing and majestic. The perch is lovey and the light cloud is also very nice.

He looks to be a little similiar to the Brahminy Kite.

Hi Sandy
The fish Eagle is very impressive, with good eye contact and the lighting is spot on. Very cool.
