Description
This is an extract from my Alien World post in Landscape where I just wanted to isolate the forms and try to eliminate a sense of scale. >=))>
Specific Feedback
I shifted the WB to the cool side to bring out these colors.

Very cool, Bill. I can’t tell if that’s all sand or if there’s some stone in there as well, but it has very neat forms. I’m a big sucker for “organic” curves and this image is beautiful example.
Nice seeing, Bill! I enjoy the textures in the rocks. Personally I am a bit more of a realist and when I rotate 90° CW, I start to see mountain range landscape from afar, representing the peaks and valleys and erosion over time.
I really like some of these rocky features at Shore Acres, and fully plan to return there to play more with that aspect. So many people focus on the big waves, and miss just how cool the geology is!
This one works very well for me Bill, and I like the WB shift. After reading @HarveyAbernathey’s comment about rotation, I played with that. It’s amazing how it changes character in different rotations!
