The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.

Description

After seeing Chris Baird’s shot of Shore Acres I thought I would post an intimate look at some of the bizarre rock formations. This is really a target/subject rich area and one of my favorite places on the Oregon coast.>=))>

Specific Feedback

I played around with the WB quite a bit to bring out the blue tones. Not absolutely true to life but I like it more than the straight light brown.

You folks are really making me want to go there, Bill. I love this image with all those curves and hollows and you did a fine job of bringing out the contours. Very well done.

Bill, what an amazing fractured and splintered surface here. Nature has away of creating stellar art that many times we miss. In this case you saw the unique beauty and made a fine image overall… :+1: :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

Bill, this is a crazy collection of rock shapes and colors! The subtle color shifts from blue to greenish to sandy look good.

Hi Bill,
Very cool shapes and colors; especially the blue tones. The large version is a real treat as it shows off some amazing textures and details. It pays to take a look downward every now and then. Very nicely done.

I like the blue and light brown tones in this image Bill. It gives it more contrast than it might appear to the eye when seeing it in person. There sure are a lot of abstract subjects to choose from at Shore Acres.

Very interesting capture Bill. I had to open up the larger version to appreciate the great detail, texture and subtle colors. But in the larger image the left side looked slightly OOF and for whatever reason I immediately wanted to rotate the whole image 90 degrees clockwise. I hope you don’t mind, I did the crop and rotation for fun. Kind of looks like an alien mountainscape this way. Congratulations on the Editor’s Pick, well deserved!
