If not obvious, taken at the shoreline. I thought having a shadow and reflection was kind of interesting. There wasn’t much color to begin with, so I thought I’d try this as a B&W.

Excellent, Allen. The calling pose adds a lot to this image and I like the shadow and reflection. If there were anything I’d change it would be to put the bird a bit higher in the frame.
This is very nice. The expression and open beak along with the shadow and reflection make this a superb black-and-white image. Well composed although I could see Dennis’s point by elevating it in the frame a bit or turning it into more of a panoramic view.
Nicely seen with the shadow and reflection. I think the black and white works well. No nits other than I’d like to see more of the reflection.
