Anticipating Spring

Critique Style Requested: Standard

The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.

Description

Buds are swelling, and the plum and magnolias are starting to bloom here, with our recent 10 days of 65 degree weather. - common in January.
Unfortunately, this happens every year, and the next of the inevitable winter storms tear most of the buds off.
An older image, re-worked with Fractalius and Topaz glow

Very nicely done, Sandy. The flower is excellent. If you don’t mind my asking, where did that border come from? It’s quite nice.

Thanks, Dennis - these frames are from Fred Miranda - quite old, and I don’t know if he has a current version.
Here, though, is a bunch of free frames (for anyone to use) :

Thanks, sandy.

Beautiful. I love that while the flower is somewhat centered, nothing about it is perfectly centered. Nice work isolating the flower from its environment. I join you in anticipating Spring!

Sandy: Beautiful presentation from capture to processing to the framing. A very pleasing result. Most excellent.>=))>
