Any Colorado Fall Colors Left?

I’m taking a quick trip to Colorado, just to get away. My plan is to head to RMNP, but I am wondering if there are any lingering fall colors around the state.

I know I am WAY late for peak season (I do hope to get out there during a September one year), but I noticed that the Aspen area has leaves lingering about so I am hoping some locals could share some areas with lingering colors.

I’m not there currently, but based on past knowledge I highly doubt there will be anything left in RMNP. You might find a little bit lingering around the San Juans or Crested Butte since they changed really late, but yeah it’s getting quite late in the season…
