The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.

Description

This is a favorite spot of mine in the Phoenix Mountain Preserve. It’s a three-shot multiple exposure. I’m still working on making multiple exposures a useful creative tool.

Specific Feedback

All comments are welcome.

Technical Details

The EXIF data doesn’t tell me the exposure for all three shots.

Hi Don, this is cool. The multiple exposures give it a soft/dreamy look. And was there snow on the ground? It a bit mysterious too. I like it. Hope to see more of this technique.

Cheers,
David

I see snow, too – but in Phoenix? Even on the mountains – I guess it could be. You have a very nice level of abstraction without confusion. This one works for me!

David, Diane, thank you both for commenting. We sometimes get snow in and around Phoenix but not in August, and I took this a few days ago. I hadn’t thought about the resemblance to snow until you mentioned it. Now it’s obvious to me.

As I said, I’m still trying to get my arms around multiple exposures. I’ll keep trying.
