Autumn color along the Virgin River

Critique Style Requested: Standard

The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.

Description

This is another photo from my photo walk along the Virgin River this fall, the first photo safari in almost a year. As described in the first photo, I was overcome with joy walking again in such natural beauty.

Specific Feedback

Too much contrast, saturation or sharpness? Composition OK? Any other critiques welcome.

Technical Details

200 mm focal legnth, 0.7 sec, f/13, ISO 100

A wonderful detail nicely carved out of the chaos.

Certainly not a grand landscape, but I really like this, Tony. You did a great job pulling this frame out of all the random branches and leaves. The arching branch helps pull the eye to the center and that little patch of green leaves below it pulls the eye into the frame very well. Excellent work.

Thanks for the comments @Dennis_Plank and @Ronald_Murphy.
