Looking for suggestions/reading/tutorials for processing of black and white images. Suggestions of favorite works or samples of reference as well. Very interested in exploring BW further and eager for recommendations from others experience.

Guy Tal’s recent book is really good for helping to visualize your results. It’s not purely a tutorial book per se but he does cover techniques for how to do black and white conversions as well. I found it to be quite helpful.
Here’s a photo that I processed after reading his book - I processed the RAW file in Lightroom then converted to b&w using the black and white layer adjustment tool in Photoshop. I then used luminosity masks and burning and dodging techniques to fine tune.
