Pertinent technical details or techniques to help others learn: D500 200-400mm f4 (1/640 sec at f8.0, Iso 1600, 200mm) Crop for com, DeNoise, Shadows & Highlights. I removed the fence line by extending the snow up into the BG. I do not have any wolves that live close by, so I chose Badger my Bernese Mountain Dog as a fill in for some wild dogs. He is about 120 pounds and when he flies in towards you, the best photos are achieved if you do not flinch :sunglasses: . Enjoy!,Jim

Great image, freezing the action! Love the expression, too.

That is one smiley dog! :grinning:

Thank you. You can certainly tell when a Bernese mountain dog is happy. The ā€œBerner smileā€ is a well known feature for this breed. ā€¦Jim

Nice action shot! The dog is certainly having a good time. Nicely done!

Beautifully realised, Jim ! The backdrop works perfectly for setting your dog centre stage.

Thank you Preston and Ian. Heā€™s a lot fun to have around the house. Also, Thanks to the Moderators and Editors for the Editorā€™s Pick for Non-Nature Photosā€¦Jim
