Bald Eagles

I’m not sure I’ve ever photographed two eagles at once. This was taken while standing on the Alsea River bridge (about 70’ above the eagles) on the Oregon coast. The eagles were on a slightly submerged sandbar on the incoming tide.

Any pertinent technical details:

Canon 7D Mark II; Sigma 150-600 at 600 mm; 1/1000 at f6.3; ISO 320

Wow, two for the price of one! I don’t know I have never had two at once. I also don’t believe I have ever seen them just standing in the shallow water like that either. Most unusual. Nice detail and I like the color that the water is reflecting, which compliments them.

Pretty close to getting all in focus. Well done!

Props for getting two, a real treat…
I might saturate this a bit.

This reminds me of a conversation between two people who stop and glance at a passerby. Excellent job getting the two Eagles and foreground in focus. Excellent detail under what looks like cloudy conditions. I like it.
