The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.
Description
The barred owls are back at the local state park in their usual hunting spot. The feeling is that the adults have no chicks this year as they are not hunting like they would be otherwise. So most opportunities I have seen are for portrait shots.
Specific Feedback
Any comments appreciated.
I selected the owl and took down the greenish cast on the bird.

This is a beautiful capture of this bird. I have seen these birds up close at the wildlife rescue center in St. Louis during the 80’s. The environment around the bird gives a nice 3D affect. I see why you tamed done the green reflection and I feel you did it well to help bring out the whiteish part of the bird. The light reflection of the green leaves shows how the bird is trying to stay hidden in the area. I also like the placement of the owl in the frame. Nice one!!!

Beautiful portrait of the owl, Allen, and I like the setting. I’m glad you left the in-focus leaves in the frame as they add a lot to the image.

I like the composition, Allen. I like the diagonal perch and the placement of the owl in the frame. Great detail. The light green foliage adds to the image and the leaf going across the owl somehow works-not sure why, as that isn’t always the case.
