I live near the Audubon Venice, FL rookery. Ordinarily there are not many opportunities to find black crowned night heron here. But I was lucky to find this one. Even though he was above me, I liked the ability to capture his full wingspan, body and feet.

Nice score here, Richard. I love the wingspan, head angle, and feet. Nice. I also like the soft partly clouded background, it works nicely too. Awesome.
