Hello, Doug, nice image and I do like the criss cross branches a lot, giving the images something special. The BCNH stands out nicely, would have been even more attractive should it have turned a little towards the camera. Other than that, a fine image as presented! Cheers, Hans

Nice photo of the night heron. Nice to see one out in the open on a great looking perch. I agree that a slight head turn would have been very nice of the heron.
My preference would be to have the bird a bit more left of center. A really good catch.
