Taken pre-Covid in the Palm Springs area. I wasn’t thrilled with the background, so replaced it with one from another photo.

Excellent pose and detail. I like the head turn. I think you did a good job on replacing the background. Excellent composition. The only thing I might consider changing would be the brightness of the perch.
Great pose and wonderful tonalities on the bird. I would never know the BG was replaced – great job! I agree with @David_Schoen about bringing down the highlights on the perch.
A third vote for bringing down the perch highlights, Allen, but a very good shot of the Phoebe. I also like the background you chose.
I don’t have anything new to add. It’s a beautiful shot, great detail, nice neutral background, and I would agree on bringing down the highlights on the perch.
Nice work on the exposure of the bird, as far as the BG I would’t have noticed
