Black Turnstone

Like the Wandering Tattler, the turnstone is seen along the coastal rocks during migration.

Very nice, Allen. Excellent detail, foreground and background. I really like the slightly tilted head.

This is really nice. Like that it’s angled toward us and the position of the feet. I also really like the setting. Looks like the bird is elevated and pretty distant from the ocean. Only critique is that, if this is a large-ish crop, you could back off a little bit and improve the image quality. I do see a little bit of noise.

Really nice pose and composition and nice to see the ocean in the bg. Well done.

This is a really nice image of this Black Turnstone. Excellent pose, plumage detail, and light. The perch and the background fit in quite well.
