Description

this is a black winged stilt and I don’t remember where I took it. I like the background and the lighting. It appears to have something in its mouth but I think I was too far away to figure it out.

Nice pose you caught David with the raised leg. The surrounding water is quite pleasing to view and the reflection is another point of interest. I like your cropping choice also. Exposure and sharpness look good to me. Well done.

Very well done on this one, David. Stilt’s usually pose so elegantly and this one is no exception. Exposure, detail, etc. all look good.

Stilts make great subjects and you caught a nice pose on this one, David. The background colors are quite pleasing.

Wonderfully pleasing image! Is it a juvenile, with the lighter head? There are two small areas on the reflection of the beak that might be blurred but that’s a very minor issue.
