I would have liked a better head turn, but when he did, I lost the blue color.

Excellent detail, Skip., and a nice pose. Gorgets are tough. Though I don’t tend to use it myself, I believe a touch of fill flash works to light it up.

I like the color and the perch. Superb detail. If I were going to do anything I might try to clone the way the out of focus twigs on the left-hand side of the frame.

Hi Skip,
I like how the blue throat contrasts with the rest of the gray image. Really focuses the viewer there. I agree that taking out the branches on left would be an improvement.
