Bluebird on a frosty morning

I think I posted another version of this where the frost on the grasses in the background made a pastel in blues and greens. For this, I just raised the background exposure enough to put the brightest areas almost to white and desaturated it quite a bit to mute the color variation. I also darkened the bird just a tiny bit to add to the contrast with the bright background.

High key bluebirds show off the blues perfectly. I like the head turn and overall color scheme of the comp. Nicely done…Jim
