Looking down from cliffs along the shoreline. Very fast moving bird. The blue eye is the key to the ID.

Very cool image. Not only do I like the action, but the view from above is very unique and provides that wonderful background.
Excellent, David. A great catch and a cool view of the cormorant. Great reflexes to catch this bird.
Wonderful catch with a wonderful and unusual BG!
Thanks for introducing me to this bird David. We have the Double Breasted ones here on the East Coast so the differences are noticeable. I like your POV here and no mistaking his habitat either. Nice behavior shot also, most of ours hang out on rocks drying their wings, ha ha.
Cool shot David, nice iridescence you captured.
Like the view from the cliff top looking into the sea. Nice catch of the Brandt. Looks like it’s a little beat up.
Terrific capture, David. Really like the bg in this one, and everything is sharp, clear, and well-exposed. Good work.
